Location: Mesa, AZ
Scope: Responsible for two projects within the Dana Park development: electrical and lighting for 1150-space parking lots including more than 100 parking pole lights; main service equipment and exterior lighting for four of six shelled buildings totaling 121,390 sq ft. Due to the large scope of the Dana Park retail project, multiple electrical engineers were used and multiple designs were developed across the various buildings making up the park. Serving as coordinator with the designers of site utilities, we insured that deletions, duplications and conflicts between project documents were caught when they could be most easily resolved. In addition, our “value-engineering” of the job created a 19% savings on the lighting plan for the 1150-space parking area. Other retail work for the Thomas team includes the Gilbert Town Square, an 80,000 sq ft project also developed by Triple Five, and Legacy Village, a 270,000 sq ft complex with Summit Builders.
